ALABEL, Sarangani (July 13, 2013) – Officials of Local Climate Change Adaptation for Development (LCCAD) meet with Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon at the Provincial Governor’s Office Friday, July 12. LCCAD invited Governor Solon as one of the co-convenors to the upcoming LGU summit conference on integrated climate change adaptation and disaster risk proofing with the theme “ADAPTAYO:NOW NA!”. The summit conference will be held in line with the priority policy agenda of President Benigno S. Aquino III and his urgent call to mainstream climate change adaptation, disaster risk and vulnerability reduction and management into local development planning processes.
