MAASIM, Sarangani (August 5, 2013) –
Integrated Barangay Defense Force (IBDF) members of Maasim conduct a
synchronized clean up drive Saturday, August 3, in 36 sitios in barangays
Malbang, Poblacion, Kabatiol, Kablacan and Daliao as the primary prevention
against the mosquito-borne Dengue. This, after the rising incidence of Dengue in
Kablacan -- where 3 deaths were already reported from 109 cases -- was monitored
by the Provincial Health Office (PHO) last month. Governor Steve Chiongbian
Solon has alerted barangay captains in the province to be extra vigilant against
