ALABEL, Sarangani (March 1, 2013) – From right, Vice Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon; Boy Vargas, national chairman of 1-United Transport Alliance Koalisyon (1-UTAK) partylist; Maning Duran, 1-UTAK chairman for Mindanao; and Merly Nebres (2nd left), federation chair of Sarangani Transport Alliance for Reforms and True Development (STARTED), give P5,000 cash assistance to Regina Ayop, a Capitol employee and sister of slain Rolando Lalisan, a transport member in Alabel. The program Thursday, February 28, at the Capitol gym during the regular transport federation monthly meeting was facilitated by the Strengthening Technological Advancement for Reforms (STAR) project under the office of Vice Governor Solon. The assistance was part of the death insurance benefit given by 1-UTAK to its members in the whole country.
