ALABEL (September 11, 2013) – Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon, vice chairman of Sarangani Bay Protected Seascape–Protected Area Management Board(SBPS–PAMB), attends the board meeting at Kasfala Hall Monday, September 9. Department of Environment and Natural Resources of Region 12 executive director Datu Tungko Saikol, chairman of SBPS–PAMB, presided the meeting which tackled the status of approved resolutions, presentation of DENR, LGUs and OGAs proposed plans, projects, activities and other issues and concerns. Among the attendees were the barangay captains along the coastal area of Maitum, Kiamba, Maasim, Alabel, Malapatan and Glan, Mayor Raul Martinez of Kiamba, DENR, NCIP, BFAR, DTI, ECPC, PNP Maritime and other concerned agencies.
