Sarangani Capitol goes solar

ALABEL, Sarangani (September 19, 2014) — The Sarangani Capitol compound lights up with cost-efficient, pro-environment and support-to-renewable energy solar-powered street lights. Solar lamps absorb as much energy as it can from the sunlight and automatically turns on at night. The Provincial General Services Office (PGSO) anticipates that 15-25%, and could be higher, will be cut off from the total amount of electric bill of the Capitol per month because of the solar outdoor lamps. Cong. Manny Pacquiao, Gov. Steve Chiongbian Solon, Vice Gov. Jinkee Pacquiao, and the board members are glad seeing the completion of the early phase of solar lights installation because it will surely save government resources to fund more the basic services of the constituents.
