Vice Gov. Jinkee unveils Gal E’ Libun logo



Alabel, Sarangani (September 9, 2014) — The Provincial Vice Governor’s Office reveals the official logo for Gal E’ Libun (Blaan phrase for strength of women), a project of Vice Governor Jinkee Pacquiao (center), at the flag raising ceremony Monday, September 8. The pink girl child silhouette represents young girls implying tenderness and vulnerability who need empowerment thru Gender Sensitivity Trainings. The yellow youth silhouette represents the girl youth symbolizing zest and energy of the youth in terms of making decisions and commitments, which will be empowered thru Early Pregnancy Prevention campaign thru the True Love Waits seminar where they will be taught to wait for the right time and person, and what to do while waiting. The purple woman silhouette represents the adult woman who will be empowered thru livelihood trainings, leadership and values reorientation, gender sensitivity trainings, strategic planning, financial management, documentation trainings, and project management trainings. The crescent shape depicting the Sarangani map represents the scope where the project will operate.
